Local Diagnostic of Security in Guinea

The diagnostic local de sécurité 2014 presents analyses of the urban development, security dispositives and insecurity in Conakry and N'Zérékoré. His principal chapters deal with urbanism, criminality, reporting crime, percepetion by residents of policing and quality of life, gender issues, youth issues and the role of the chefs de quartier in dealing with insecurity. It is based on over 5'000 face-to-face interviews run by COGINTA and the University of Sonfonia in local languages using new technologies to interview people with smartphones and allowing mapping crime in the zones studied. The project was financed jointly by the European Union and UNDP.
